One can logically find reasons for either case, but my guess would be this release caught the government of Venezuela off guard just as it did KRY&GRZ. On one hand you have the government not responding to this release, which could mean they approve of it (but we should still see something), or on the other hand they knew nothing about it and try to sort things out.

I can remember maybe a year ago, a politician came out saying Chavez was going to nationalize all the mining and force compaines to form JV. Later a statement was issued by the government clarifing this situation, as well as a press release from KRY about the article 11 statements.

Nevertheless, we are all feeling screwed right now. I thought holding shares and trading around all the other PR was hard. As some one said all we can do is sit and wait.
