I think they were right to wait on the open letter till just before the visit to Bolivar and the AN hearings. People forget quickly all the goos stuff you do for them but remember the bad stuff forever.

I don't see the Defense as a bad thing. If we get the go ahead the legal miners and community will be very happy but the illegal miners will need to be removed without too much violence. To me this is a matter of getting everyone the same page. Also you wouldn't need to have any meeting unless there was to be mining at LC.
