With all the news that has come the last couple of days it is hard to determine what will happen with KRY. An article, from Bloomberg, mentioned that Sanz clarified the situation that Russia will not take over KRY.

"Bloomberg -- whew! -- scotches the Reuters report with a hastily clarifying headline that Sanz was now denying that he was offering Las Cristinas and they keys to Venezuela's Central Bank gold bullion vault (presumably) to the Ruskies!"

Unfortunately, with the media repeatedly reporting these stories about Las Crisinas and the Ruskies the truth gets more difficult to discern. A people start believing errornous statments. Having not heard anything lately, is concerning but Venezuela has its own timeline. Just look at the time it took to clarify the Ortega situation. Hopefully, we hear something soon.

For the record, I was a big supporter of Venezuela's new idea of having a socially responsible company. In the end it may be just Chavez's greed for power that causes not only the downfall of KRY, but Venezuela as well.
