Mibam canceled debts of conversion to miners
(Press MIBAM; 18-11-08) Six thousand and seventy-two miners from the Paragua, will receive this Thursday 20 and Friday November 21 this year, in the Parque Ferial Leonardo Ruiz Pineda of Ciudad Bolivar and La Paragua, the checks as payment of the conversion plan.
So informed Rodolfo Vilchez, director of Mining Concessions from the ministry of People's Power for Basic Industries and Mining, (Mibam) in a press conference during the morning of Tuesday, which reaffirmed the commitment and willingness of the minister and chairman of the Venezuelan Guayana Corporation (CVG), Rodolfo Sanz, to deliver the checks to more than six thousand beneficiaries.

"It rains, thunder or relampaguee [sheet lightining ] we will deliver the checks in an amount of 10 billion bolivars strengths to each of the miners, who were previously cared for two weeks in Ciudad Bolivar," said the official spokesman.

The social debt that the President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Hugo Chávez acknowledged some three years ago, under the "Program for Working People Revolutionary Alliance-government," will be settled when Rodolfo Sanz conjunction with the governor of Bolivar state, Francisco Rangel Gomez, a candidate for re-election, making delivery of the checks.

The amount to be apportioned among the 6072 miners benefited from the conversion mining exceeds the figure of 60 million bolivars strong. Vilchez said, it also will be delivered 53 loans amounting to 7, 8 million strong bolivars, targeting the areas agricultural, fishery and services in the municipalities Callao, Sifontes and Raúl Leoni.
