It was from one of the "mainstream" local papers....Neuva Prensa or Correo del Caroni I think. For all we know...they could be allocating parcels in these areas for the artisinals as part of the overall development plan. It doesn't necessarily have to rule out large scale open pit mining of Las Cristinas. It stands to reason that the artisinals have to be given something of their own. Who knows.
