Paau, I respect your comments about private messages. I couldn't find the comment/request on the regular posting forum and I was wondering if I missed it or if it had been deleted. Perhaps you could answer whether the message came through agoracom private message system or to you personally. I'm not asking for any information that would reveal the contents or the person who sent it specifically.

As I said, I totally resspect not divulging information from a private message. I get private messages all the time and would never make them public.

This brings me to one question where I am struggling with the route you took. I always answer my private messages back privately for the same reason we all want to respect the anonymity of our fellow posters here.

Given that, why did you post your comments and responses on the public forum to a private question? Unless the person who sent you the message asked you to make specific comments on the public forum it seems like you strayed from keeping a private message private.

This brings me back to my question, was the person a poster here or was it someone who wanted you to post here? The latter makes sense since you only signed up recently but perhaps it is just another coincidence. This could be right out of the Sir Walter Scott play Marmion whic has that very famous line that applies to life in general.
