My goodness PowPow! Every country you mentioned is a communist country where there are no elections. That is what communism is - one party rule.  And the problem with Vz going forward is about the constitutional assembly whereupon Maduro wants to change the constitutiom, likely,  for a one party rule as it is in Cuba.  Hence ruler for ever. That is what Venezuelans are rioting in the streets over. Many countries in the free world are liberal socialistic but have proper 2 or more party elections.
