As far as I can see the mining is being done with essentially no care for the environment with the military taking much of the revenue produced and little money for the miners.

Again my view is that the country management (or mismanagement ) takes the major part of the funds. Essentially taking 100% of funds with zero effort to preserve the ecosystem.

The funds which could go to the payout to KRY are instead being ripped off from the country in graft. 

When that will end is an unknowable and we will simply see if after the sale of Citgo Tenor takes it all (or most of it)
