What a great read.Thx for posting. I consulted to PDVSA at Punto Fijo facility in the 90s and saw firsthand what Chavez did to the company and the country.   What the writer fails to grasp is that the real tragedy of this mess is that if the Bolivar Republic had just left the gold miners alone....
