I believe that Market Makers in the Pink Market are the reason why many investors and potential investors of penny stocks do not trust the stock market in general. They have a poor reputation that they themselves created. Since they have almost zero accountability other than the SEC which seldomly ever pays attention to them, what is to stop them from constructing a feigned market that is orchestrated to benefit them first and investors second, which could possibly affect the share price in a negative way? Thats right nothing. It happens more then you think. And it may be happening with ATDS right now.
