AGORACOM NEWS FLASH

Dear Agoracom Family,

I want to thank all of you for your patience with us over the past 48 hours and apologize for what was admittedly a botched launch of our new site.

As you can see, we have reverted back to the previous version of the site while we address multiple forum functionality flaws that inexplicably made their way into the launch.

To this end:

1.We have identified 8 fundamental but easily fixable flaws that will be corrected in the coming week, so that you can continue to use the forums exactly as you've been accustomed to.

2.Additionally we will also be implementing a couple of design improvements to "tighten up" the look and feel of the forums.

Sincerely,

George et al

TORONTO, Sept. 22 /CNW Telbec/ - Fiber Optic Systems Technology, Inc. ("FOX-TEK"), (TSX-V: FOX), a developer and manufacturer of patented non-intrusive sensing systems, today announced the sale and installation of another PinPoint system, this time at one of the largest refineries on the West Coast. This installation is this particular customer's second PinPoint system purchase.

The PinPoint system was installed during operation in a hazardous area at the refinery, on 700 degrees F process piping located on the side of a tower. While the first purchase by this customer was made to permit inspection of an inaccessible component in between maintenance shutdowns at another refinery, this installation was motivated by the need to monitor the effectiveness of a chemical designed to minimize naphthenic acid corrosion. Based on the severity of the corrosion data reported by the PinPoint system, the refiner will be able to make objective decisions regarding how much and what type of chemical needs to be added to the process. In addition, the data provided by FOX-TEK will assist the refinery in assessing the risk associated with processing particular types of crude.
