BMO and Merrill are being paid to help Falcon find a strategic partner. Their involvement has nothing to do with information contained in the Data Room.

Of course they are being paid. Do you think they work for free? And yes, they have seen the data room and think they can sell the deal. Merrill has a good reputation and wouldn't try to sell something they didn't believe in. They are not such a successful company by peddling bad deals to their customers. Try to spin this any way you want, but this is very good news that they are on board.
