No need to get pissy. I don’t think anyone is saying that management should not be focused on business. It’s just that they don’t seem to have been very good at it – it has been years now with minimal revenue.

 

In light of this, perhaps they should take a different approach and market the company. Ultimately, the share price (in relation to the number of outstanding shares) determines the value of the company. Go ahead and argue that it is based on the company’s assets but fact is, there will always be someone who will buy if there is value. Right now, the market is giving a huge discount to FNC’s tangible assets (CIA shares) because it does not trust management to turn this around and create more value. It should be a red flag if management is not concerned about the value of the company, but it seems that this is where we are.

No need for sellers to beware. Go ahead and make your money where you can. You may not get the maximum, but few actually do.
