Top shareholders for GBN.V. Why this link works is a complete mystery, but one of the sources on the web if you don't have a Bloomberg terminal.

Notable to the discussion is there are no buyers, only sellers. Meaning short sales are being settled. When Bloomberg posted the short position on GBN.V shares in 2010, before the great sell-off in mining shares, they showed a negative number, meaning just about all of the publicly held float was short. Greater than 70%.

There were 'buyers' on the short sales, settling accounts, meaning the percentage of shares is actually double, plus there would have been small accumulation for September accounting for 16% of the float. The conclusion you would draw is there would be no 'anxious buyers' left to settle short sales.

The largest shareholder, Netolitzky, engaged a short sale in March, 2012, and closed the short sale of 5m. shares on the last day of trading in Dec., 2013. This did not change the outstanding shares held. Netolitzky is sitting in a staggering loss.
