Moose, there was a 500k bid placed by CIBC at 11:43 am yesterday at .50 cents to counter the big offer by Scotia but then it just disappeared about 2 hours later just like the Scotia offer never showed up today. This has been going on for weeks and months, ever since the financing. This evidence is being recorded by saving and printing pictures of the tape and hopefully will lead to some action to try to uncover the manipulators, likely a hedge fund from the US. The best case outcome would be discovering who is behind this manipulation, confirmation of manipulative practises and then a class action lawsuit for everyone to join. But this is extremely hard to accomplish and I am aware of no successful outcomes and it has to done by those harmed, the shareholders. This approach offers a possibility as opposed to regulators because many complaints have been placed by the company with the securities regulators and exchange but to no avail, they are completely useless.

Of course the fastest and quickest way to deal with these criminal hedge funds is to take them out with buying but they have done such a good job creating bad sentiment that even long standing shareholders can hardly stand it and they know what a great growth story ECU really is. I know of instances recently where some have thrown in the towel in some ECU and gold/silver because they just can't take it anymore or stand watching what is happening and I feel badly for these people because they will miss what is coming. I will never nor would ever be pushed around by whoever is behind the manipulative action of not only ECU but many junior and mid-sized gold/silver companies and I would love to see some justice for the shareholders.

When one sees the money stolen by Goldman Sachs with their in-house designed manipulative computer trading algorithyms in their recent earnings, a penny or nickel at a time, it makes my blood boil. Who knows, maybe they have a hand in the ECU trading pattern through the Canadian brokerages just like they do on NY.
