Your shares are being converted into Golden common stock at a Canadian court approved exchange ratio of 20 ECU shares for 1 share of Golden Minerals common stock. Consequently, there is no conversion based on US or Canadian currency, just the exchange ratio. Your shares are being converted into Golden Minerals common stock that can be traded on both the TSX and the NYSE Amex; whereas your ECU shares only traded on the TSX. The AUM and AUMN designations are just the ticker symbols on the two exchanges, but the stock is not issued for one exchange or the other. The Golden Minerals common stock can be traded on both exchanges, and it is not designated for any particular currency (although the exchange on which they trade will obviously dictate whether any sale is in CDN$ or US$).
