Of all the statutory holidays that we here in Canada enjoy, Thanksgiving, imo has to be the most enjoyable.

I came to this country back in 1967 and since then, all of the festival holidays seem to have been hijacked by commercial enterprises, the exception being Thanksgiving and it happens to be the one festival that I truly enjoy.

It brings family together without expectation, except to just feel good about being together. That to me is priceless.

So to all my fellow Canadians, I hope you all enjoy this magical weekend, whether you congregate on Sunday or Monday.
