I cannot help but think of trying to electro-shock a corpse back to life when I see how the market is responding to this emergency rate cut. For the last year, every 1-2 months, the FED has come out with some emergency announcement and the market has had smaller and smaller rallies every time. Now, we at the point where the shocks no longer have any effect. The next step is monetization. It is only a matter of time before those who are not yet corpses run to the only safety there is-- gold.
