So, what impact will this have on battery sales in circumstances where batteries are used for energy storage and, specifically, where those batteries are Lithium-Ion batteries?  In the long run other technologies than Li-Ion will dominate Energy Storage, but for the next several years Li-Ion batteries will still be an important part of that niche.  Fortunately, the problems that the Solar industry currently face in their supply chain issue shouldn't be as big a problem for that portion of the Li-Ion battery market committed to EVs, but it will still have an impact regarding Energy Storage.
