Justify the number

You guys are talking like our team has to some how justify the number/dollar amount. IMO, they don't, really. If anything, I would think they have their numbers in mind for each of the Js. And I'd bet those numbers are bigger than many here suspect (recall the statement at the Spring SHM - a settlement - singular - for $225-250M). If some justification is needed for that number, they'll just "back into" that number by assigning values accordingly.
Keep in mind the profits made by these companies - profits that wouldn't have been realized without using our tech. Now what's the right number?
Then there's the "pain in the ass" factor. Two years of agony is worth a lot IMO.
While I am trying to be conservative in my estimates, I'm fairly convinced that the numbers, when they become known, will be a pleasant surprise.
As for what our PPS will do, IMO we can dream up a PPS after settlements - then double it, because the momentum traders will step in and drive it up (and then back down). The day of an announcemenet will be very tough on anyone considering taking a little off the table (as I intend to do). Where's the top?
I do hear the mentions of market cap. I don't put too much weight on it, becaiuse there are so many companies with market caps that are ridiculous. Should I really put more thought into this aspect? Is it something "real"?
This expected pop, however big, will certainly be interesting....
