AMD involvement

From Wallin`s letter to shareholders:

``Along with the

benchmarking of the processor and supporting its examination by the EEMBC, we have

capitalized on key opportunities to address a number of the problems which have traditionally

plagued the IGNITE microprocessor. The IGNITE development tools, while not yet considered

state-of-the-art, have been significantly improved which should enable increased licensing and

utilization.``

Is there any reason to believe that AMD has or is helping PTSC improve their development tools?

And does anyone else think this gives us a clue as to why we haven`t been able to market the Ignite? Design engineers want tools they can use. If it`s not too late and the improvements are ``significant``, maybe we start selling licenses to use the chip. The lawsuits have certainly gotten us lots of publicity. Enough maybe for some design guy to try this ignite chip.
