I did some search on gigabit Logic inc and found these articles. I read most of them. wow. Galium Arsinde was all the rage 1982-1990 with market share predictions in the 150 Billion $ range.

And then it flopped. I find that pretty scary to see.

Lets hope that today, with moors law coming to a head there will be a bigger demand and need for it. Maybe finaly 20 years later it will achieve the market share predictions of the past
