SPIE won't make the SP move IMO, since POET representatives are attending but not actually billed to present. I think it's more of an opportunity to network with others who understand the significance of POET as rob suggested.

Perhaps some of these guys will be able to return to the companies they work for and preach the gospel to their less tech savvy keepers. This may have a positive impact for the company, but not for raising the SP IMHO.

Personally I'm looking ahead to the milestones for now. In the absence of any short-term catalysts i think it's the only thing to do.
