It's just an extra 500, not an extra 5,500. POET is the best possible type of investment to for a TFSA. If you haven't opened a TFSA, and you have your POET stock in a non registered investment account, you should move it all over. If the gains are as significant as we all hope, you'll be able to withdraw any amount...without Mr Harper getting his greedy mits on any of it.
