pd13, that's the exact reason for me having only told two (2) other people/friends about POET.

I think a reaction like that would be fairly normal coming from Financial Planners that work for banks. My bank managers are constenly contacting me when they see my accounts, trying to get me in for meetings because they want me to invest with them and their lousy choices of investing.

I do however have a finacial advisor who I have a great deal of respect for and he maintains the core of my finances.

But once again, I would never expect a bank employed finacial guy to ever say "wow, yes you should buy buy buy". Not sure but the more people these guys bring in to invest the more they may get out of it.
