Oh, ScaryRacoon, I am just juggling with numbers and exaggarating to make my point. Call it a thought experiment. The principle is the same, whether the offer is a double, triple, quadruple, or tenfold.

Anyway, you laughed about me calling $10 a low-ball offer. This perfectly illustrates the risk I am talking about! It is the risk that shareholders accept a buyout offer at a price which way too low, which is one or maybe even two orders of magnitude below what their holding is worth.
