"A million times more sensitive" would be higher than any number I've ever heard attributed to our sensors. Off the top of my head, I think the only value I've ever heard with POET was "orders of magnitude" greater.

Also, I think POET's benefit lies in the spectrum of sensitivity. I believe POET can do SWIR, MWIR, LWIR, etc. within the same camera, uncooled, while also being more sensitive as mentioned above.

I'd like to think POET is behind it, but I don't know if our sensors would even be the most exciting thing Lazaridis would have to talk about if he knows about us. Hopefully he does know.
