Message: AMD, Poet and market share

In P2, the following statement/assumption caught my attention:

"Narrower focus in the computer marketplace, focusing only on about the top 10%-20% of computers sold that may benefit from POET usage as opposed to most computers sold that employ processors sold by a particular licensee."

I wondered why they would decide to focus on only the top 20% of computers. Check out the following market share graph comparing Intel & AMD:

The reference in P2 to excluding most computers sold by a particular licensee seems to refer to Intel, as we know they are not taking Poet seriously, and giants are resistant to change in general.

Given that Intel has about 80% of the market share, one could deduce that P2's focus is specifically pointing us towards AMD as the first potential licensee in the general computer marketplace. Look forward to that deal coming soon to a newswire near you!
