Are silicon technologies poised to displace GaAs

Asif Anwar of Strategy Analytics thinks not, ...

The text seems to be from 2008 but the graphic show 2011... so I am not sure when it was written but it's a good read from semiconductor-today. I like the part about the cost of GaAs, but 6 years in tech it's enormous.
