FJ I reviewed it again this morning, more so to refresh on milestone points but I did re-read the whole thing.
The opticall transceiver cost reduction might be very interesting, especially with the recent spate of slowdowns on the Internet as a result of antiquated routers (with 512k reserved for BGP routing tables.. I had no idea these old pieces of junk were still out there). However with Transceivers running around $200 CDN at the moment (for a 10gb no less); I'm not sure what the ceiling is on the market here. I suppose as new developments occur in the 100gb/s+ area; chances are POET would be used due to the cost reduction in manufacturing the transceiver.
