Would using POET allow for a collaborative effort on the part of possibly many specialized chip makers as opposed to having only one behemouth company - Intel - capable of manufacturing the chip size and capacity required. Maybe kind of like an open source code in the software world. Certainly one company could make it but it would be at least possible to team-up and make super small, super powerful chips that only one or very few companies can do now.
