What is the point of "I've been steadily buying again" topics?

It seems to me... Every time someone who has been on this board for a while posts it, he/she, either has unlimited cash supply (unlikely), buying after selling (i.e. trading the stock), simply trying to cheer everyone up while not really buying anyting.
