You need to think in terms of market cap and not pre and post share prices. If the market values the company at $X billion, it doesn't matter if there is 200 millions shares or 66.6 million shares, it is still $X billion. If things happen as we all think, with deals, revenue, etc., the less shares available on the market, the more pressure there will be on the price to spike. Simple supply and demand. If POET was worth $70 per share there would not be a need for the RS.
