It would be interesting to look back and see how Canadian Tech companies like

Nortel and RIM started out.

For example: Were there initial investors predominantly Canadian?

What exchange were they on initially?

How long did it take for foreign investors to make a substantial investment?

What was the trigger for major investors to buy in? Revenue, road shows, Disruptive technology?

If folks want to weigh in on this, it may give us some insight as to when and where

POET Inc. will eventually take off. Can we even use these previous companies as examples?
