POET and GaAs has a problem which can be worked around using a bipolar switch that has already been demonstrated. . The 4 terminal switch envisaged  is going to take more work. Its in the GaAs are they want partnerships to speed up commercialisation for InP they have the capacity at DenseLight already.  The partners that qualify to work with GaAs will be those with a FAB.   Best check who recently bought FABS?

They will not do a PO like they did previously but did not write that the possibility off which is their rightful prerogative. A partner is required.
