It would take some looking for the agreements but as I recall Geoff Taylor received shares in Opel Solar Inc when the company was formed. In return (as a condition) Geoff was/is required to handed over 100% ownership of all existing and future patents he produced(s) while working at UCONN. As Sash pointed out UCONN will receive royalties from all of Geoff’s inventions produced under the UCONN roof.

This would be why we continue to see patents produced by Geoff with both UCONN and Opel Solar Inc (POET) as the assignee. I would think that Geoff probably also receives funding from POET as a contractor?
