Thanks, Oz for that great post!  Another terrific Oz contribution to a terrific message board.  Your reference to "Optics Valley in Wuhan" undoubtedly was fully understood by all the tech savy folks on this message board.  Since I am one of the "other" and unsavy ( some might even go as far as to suggest "unsavory"?)  investors in POET I had to research to find out "something" about Optics Valley.  I have been doing very slow study of Mandarin for a few years and I had some vague knowledge of Wuhan in Hubei province, but when I say "vague" I probably should instead say "effectively none".  Long story short:  for those without any antecedant knowledge about "Optics Valley in Wuhan" the following links might prove to be of interest:
