Cisco certainly has the cash RTV, but not sure how you come up with "...instant billion dollar market cap..."

I do not disagree with your second paragraph, but unless somewhere contained within the paperwork for the sale of DL it states that POET's sales will be x, it's awfully difficult to put a value on the company....that really only becomes possible once the sales are announced.

Now, speculators may instantly assess POET a billion market cap, but that would be based not on facts, but speculation of sales. If there is a big name buying DL, I do believe there will be speculation....I just don't know how much.

Sales matter.
