Lumenge, I do not share your takeaway regarding your conclusion of "the technology works" as the result of this postponement.

What I get is, "we still think this is a big winner, if the technology works as well as we all hope."  If this tech were qualified with several potential customers who were chomping at the bit for product, the deal would have been signed a while back and probably closed before September 15.  Hot deals don't get put on hold because of signatures, although the buyer likely will need board approval by the buyer.

If there is no exception to the 15 month rule (must have AGM no later than 15 months beyond prior year's AGM), Poet took it to the limit with this postponement!

The risk/reward still may be quite favorable, and may get more favorable over the rest of the summer, unless favorable qualification news emerges which should push the price back up.

And the $267 million in 2023 sales - well, that assumes the tech is as good as anticipatd.  Better than Pelligrino, but, again, that number rides on a number of assumptions, the most important being that the tech works as expected.  Until I hear definitive confirmation that that is the case, it remains, far and away, my number one risk factor.

Today's developments (which I view, on balance, as disappointing) were foreshadowed accurately by the lack of activity in the market in the week leading up to today - I believe the little spurts that we had were principally fueled by posters/readers of this message board.  POET remains a white knuckle ride!!
