At the AGM Suresh stated that POET is one of several parallel technologies that the mystery tier one partner was developing for 400G. The tier one is not betting the farm on POET.

Whether or not POET is part of any soon-to-be-announced Cisco product, it must be acknowledged that it makes strategic sense for Cisco to withhold revealing their suppliers for as long as possible. So if POET is indeed inside, it could well be our company is gagged until Cisco says the coast is clear.

Of course that won't stop equipment teardown sleuths from their probing efforts, after such units reach end users... but hopefully we wouldn't have to wait that long.
