AGORACOM NEWS FLASH

Dear Agoracom Family,

I want to thank all of you for your patience with us over the past 48 hours and apologize for what was admittedly a botched launch of our new site.

As you can see, we have reverted back to the previous version of the site while we address multiple forum functionality flaws that inexplicably made their way into the launch.

To this end:

1.We have identified 8 fundamental but easily fixable flaws that will be corrected in the coming week, so that you can continue to use the forums exactly as you've been accustomed to.

2.Additionally we will also be implementing a couple of design improvements to "tighten up" the look and feel of the forums.

Sincerely,

George et al

Message: Bill Ring

Bill Ring has stayed with only one company for more than 6 years - his OWN consulting company.

Generally, he stays with a company between 2 and 6 year (he was with POET for 3 2/3 years - pretty average for Bill).

My gut tells me that he prefers consulting/entrepreneurship than the day to day operations of a company.  POET has changed (my guess) and Bill (as he has often) has decided to find his next adventure in something that turns him on.  I know many people like this.  In fact, I'm one of them.

This is a situational issue.  I believe it's neither positive or negative.  Though from a belief that POET is maturing it's probably on balance positive.

All in my opinion.
