Semiconductor shortage phenomenon

To the technically adept on our board-

The auto industry is being impacted quite a bit now with a semiconductor supply shortage, and l am wondering to what extent this shortage will provide us with new market opportunities.

l know we do not make chips, but from a technical standpoint, isn't our product inextricably linked and accretive to what the semi's do? Does what we do make their products so much better ( faster, cheaper, lower cost, etc.)? Finally, if their industry has to increase manufacturing capacity to meet the new demand levels, won't our manufacturer(s) have to do the same?
