The shows not over until the fat lady sings.

The OFC has been a major effort for management who have brought talent in to make the most of the opportunity to spread the word about the POET OI, the success of the OFC effort is not to be measured in SP but in generating enquiries leading to contract wins.  This surely is just one phase in the plan to create the right conditions for uplifting to the NASDAQ.  What are these right conditions one asks?  The answer to that is contract wins and SV has quite clearly signalled that should be our concern and not SP at present. So we really must trust him.

Not until we can clearly judge the impact of the OFC marketing efforts can we realistically expect anything more than the usual nudges in the right direction we are well used to as a consequence of trade shows.

Armed with results in terms of contracts or strong interest that management can translate into future production fingers can management realistically build their case for future growth. This if handled well will convince those being lined up for major investment to bite.

So don't angst about minor skirmishes like the OFC when surely the main aim is to create the right scenario for major investment.  Write your own headline if you wish; 'Major investment House invests in POET technologies disruptive Optical Interposer' and then imagine its impact.

Surely, management's belief is that they can achieve the right conditions to uplift including SP.  So let's all wait out until the dust of the OFC settles and conclusions can be drawn on the effect of their marketing efforts.

Other ideas re what constitutes the conditions are most welcome.
