you can compare the Intel and POET like this:

If Intel was a car manufacturer and produced gasoline powered cars only,they might be selling 1 million cars a year. But then each year declining in sales.

Let's be honest Intel has been in the technology sector for a long time now.

  If POET was also in the automobile market and but on the verge of selling an electric fuel cell powered car and just waiting for full customer approval thru the last stages before rollout, their sales might start in 6 months and then would ramp up.

    The point is, consumers have to drive something in the meantime while new technology is being rolled out.

Anyways , that is how I look at it.
