Thin-film lithium niobate modulators are not prime time yet. POET demonstrated the flexibility of the optical interposer with the ability to integrate this high-index contrast waveguide material set into a working optical engine with little fanfare. 

It represents another benchmark to demonstrate the flexibility of the Optical Interposer Platform. 

These data points are all adding up as the industry takes notice.
