Message: What we have been waiting for

We have all been waiting for production to begin. A tangible product. Revenue!

Well from the most recent blog and management updates this is about to happen. If a small raise is all that is needed at the moment that signifies to me revenue should soon follow.

Full production by the end of the year. This year!!!

We have set the company up for success over 2022 which we will realize as we head into 2023 (to me that is before or just as we start 2023.

Our SP will adjust accordingly once production begins and produced with relability at scale

6. POET expects to start sampling 800G/1.6T Optical Engines in the first half of 2023. Does that mean the company will not make revenue until those products have been evaluated by customers?

No. As we have stated, POET will be in full production for four products by the end of 2022. Those products are: 100G CWDM4 TX, 100G CWDM4 RX, 200G RX, and 400G RX. And then there will be another four products in production in the first half of 2023. On top of that, customer engagement and design-in activity has gained momentum, with at least two customers in China to get into production early next year. And we have multiple design-in activity with other module customers.

7. What does the 800G and 1.6T Optical Engine advancement mean for the company’s financial outlook?

We have set the company up for success over 2022 and that success will begin to be realized as we head into 2023. The 800G and 1.6T positions us to be at the forefront of one of the world’s most important and profitable industries, which is also in need of a platform that will allow for next generation engineering solutions. Financially, POET is in a prime position to capitalize on the demand for high-performance pluggables, chiplets, transceivers, and modules.
