Message: Production ready

This is a snipet taken fron the the most recent Zack's report:

SPX customers are still in the design-in phase. We believe one of the module makers ordered a small number of optical engines from SPX to be put into a module and sent to its customers for qualification. It is expected that by the end of Q1 or early Q2 SPX should start getting some additional purchase orders from their customers.

Revenue during 2023 for POET will be of NREs. Initial samples of higher-speed optical engines being combined into modules for 400/800 and 1.6T are expected to be going to customers throughout the year. Product revenue for POET should begin to ramp up in 2024.

I know we are all waiting on production to begin. Me too. Since we finally have an explanation of release to production.  " The design in phase is frozen " no more tweaks of the final product.

Optical engine samples are made and then sent to a customer, in this case a module maker. They in turn send them to their customers to qualify. Based on the above statement this looks like it has begun and takes a few months to validate.

One thing I would like to point out from the Zack's report is the distinction bewtween Poet and SPX.

In my opinion the clarity of revenue from Poet and SPX are two different things. Especially since Poet will be working jointly with SPX and on its own. It can be muddled.

I think SPX will be ready to go into production once the vaildation is complete. Hopefully like the above statement indicates. Late first quarter/ early second.
