 Outtahere, you highligted the following sentence:

A "tombstone" is what you place over the grave of someone no longer living.  So, in effect, it would be recognition that the dreams of ROI for those invested in POET for a decade or longer (some much longer) and those who just jumped on the banana boat are dead and will be buried by this "offer", if accepted, for whatever is agreed as the sale price.

Is this akin to "making an offer we can't refuse"?  Given the circumstances, that is.
