Thanks for the technical insights FJ.  

It seems abundantly clear that POET has a tough job to convince the market its tech is all they claim it to be.  Only time and patience (sorry) will win out.  The tech will naturally evolve and prove its value, but this will take a number years (yawn). PTK are a legacy stock in my view.  

As for the SP.  It is insulting to most here.  I, perhaps naively, like to think we're where we are because the people with the money know whats coming.  As such they want in at the lowest prices.  Much like when private companies float for the first time.  The money men have already loaded up and are coining it in.  

At some point when ptk proves they can make money we'll see real appreciation.  Until then the SP will do as Wordsworth said and wander lonely as a cloud.
