Further to DARPA funding and projects, overview of approved projects for the past 2 years.

large documuments but if you skim to the "ES-01 / ELECTRONIC SCIENCES" section of each, some interesting photonics and related research that may/may not be applicable or related to the types of things POET is working on.

One project from FY2016 that caught my eye (just cause I like the name!) is called the POEM program: Photonically Optimized Embedded Microprocessor (POEM).
